The New Year is off and running!
Most Important Thing to Know: IRS has a implemented a New System, keeping this in mind your Refunds will be delayed by about 2 weeks. What does this mean? If you file your taxes Electronically, there is about a 10 day waiting period from the time your taxes are accepted and acknowledged by IRS to the time you receive your refund. Due to System changes and in effort to reduce Fraudulent returns filed, refunds are being delayed by about an additional 10 days. Don't worry IRS has your return, but they are doing their Due Diligence even more this year. Check out their website: www.irs.gov.
